A custom-shaped folding carton is a type of die-cut cardboard box. Its production requires a die-cutter, which precisely shapes the box to fit its contents. This minimizes empty space inside, offering significantly better product protection than standard boxes. Specially designed flaps and wings interlock, allowing for efficient assembly of the box without the need for adhesive tape. This solution is appreciated by both end consumers and environmentally conscious companies, as fewer additional materials mean a smaller environmental footprint.

We produce custom-shaped cardboard boxes in self-assembly, multi-point glued, and automatic bottom versions. Each project is carried out according to the FEFCO standard, which guarantees repeatability and compatibility with automatic packaging lines.

What is the difference between a custom-shaped carton and a regular slotted carton?

Opakowanie klapowe ma standardową prostokątną formę i składa się wzdłuż linii bigowania - nie wymaga wykrojnika. Opakowanie fasonowe produkowane jest z użyciem wykrojnika, co pozwala nadać mu dowolny kształt, dodać okienka, asymetryczne zamknięcia czy specjalne klapki. To rozwiązanie dla produktów, które wymagają precyzyjnego dopasowania pudełka. Ten typ konstrukcji sprawdza się zarówno w małych pudełkach fasonowych, jak i dużych kartonach fasonowych na produkty wielkogabarytowe.

Do folding cartons require tape for assembly?

No – a correctly designed folding box is assembled by interlocking flaps and wings, without the need for adhesive tape. For multi-point glued or automatic bottom versions, the box is ready even faster – it only takes one motion to open it for use.

What is the minimum order quantity for custom packaging?

Minimum order quantities are set individually – they depend on the packaging design, the type of die-cutter, and the chosen type of cardboard. Contact us, and we will advise on the optimal solution for your production scale.

Can I order custom-shaped packaging with printing?

How long does it take to process an order?

The minimum turnaround time is up to 10 business days. For new projects that require the creation of a cutting die, the turnaround time may be longer—we will inform you of this during the quoting process.
