What is die-cutting?

Paper die-cutting, also known as paper punching, is a process in which a special die-cutting machine is used to precisely cut out the desired shapes from a sheet of paper. This method makes it possible to achieve the most complex shapes that are not possible with a standard bookbinding guillotine. It is particularly useful when it is necessary to produce cardboard packaging, trays, inserts and other items with unusual shapes and fine patterns.

What does die-cutting involve?

The die-cutting process is carried out using a die punch and a special tool, called a blanking die. The blanking die is designed based on customer specifications. It consists of a board with knives that produce the desired shape, and a cleaning section that removes waste from the corrugated sheet.  Thanks to the use of advanced machines equipped with cleaning systems, we can guarantee the high quality of die-cut packaging.
