What is flap packaging?

A flap box is a reusable, ecological packaging. It is one of the most popular and versatile boxes for packaging any product. Also known as RSC (regular slotted container), American Box or Fefco 0201, its versatility, functionality and low price make it a favourite with customers.   

 A flap box has a very simple design for easy folding, storage and transport. As the name suggests itself, a flap box is closed by folding the cardboard wings, or flaps. The simple design of this packaging means it can be manufactured in all sizes.

FLAP PACKAGING TEK-PAK

As a manufacturer of cardboard packaging, we offer flap boxes in both typical (standardised) and non-standardised sizes. Our product range includes large-size flap boxes and flap boxes for use on pallets. By using 5-7 layers of high-density cardboard, we guarantee excellent tear resistance. In addition, at the customer’s request, we can use kraftliner paper, which is more moisture-resistant than standard testliner cardboard.   

Our range also includes height-adjustable flap boxes. The dimensions of such packaging can be varied and successfully adapted to different product sizes. With a simple cut you can adjust the height of the box. So, one box replaces several! A practical, ecological and versatile solution. On special request, we can produce high-quality flexographic printing on flap packaging. This is a modest, inexpensive and, above all, durable form of advertising that allows the public to identify the sender more quickly.
