What is shelf-ready packaging (SRP)?

SRP is display packaging designed for product presentation on the shop shelf. It is less commonly known as RRP (retail ready packaging). The top of SRP packaging is secured for transport and can be easily removed for product display.

A major advantage of this type of box is its two-part design. These boxes are ideal for secure transport. On the other hand, they can be displayed on retail shelves after transport. Depending on the specific box design, the top can be removed or torn out along the perforations to reveal a display box that facilitates product identification, promotion and presentation.
