What is laminated packaging?

Laminated packaging is cardboard packaging with a special extra layer of paper to increase the durability of the print. The extra layer allows you to produce boxes with personalised prints of any size and design. The target graphic design is first offset printed onto the paper and then the finished object is glued to the board. The next step is further processing, in the same way as standard packaging.  

Film can also be added to a laminated box during the lamination process. This has a number of advantages. Firstly, it improves the overall appearance of the packaging. Secondly, it improves print quality and durability. Finally, it prevents cracking when the box is folded.
