What is scoring?
Scoring is a key bookbinding process that enables cardboard and paperboard to be easily bent into the correct shape.
How does scoring work?
The scoring process involves making precise scoring lines on the surface of a sheet of card- or paperboard. These cuts allow the packaging to be bent easily and precisely at the desired points. In our company we use a special machine adapted to make scoring lines on corrugated board with different layers. Thanks to our many years of experience and professional approach, the scoring process runs smoothly and ensures the expected results.
Application of scoring
The scoring process is used in the production of various corrugated board products. Automated scoring enables the efficient bending of sheets, which are then used to make flap boxes, folding boxes, corners, trays and other corrugated products.
