Our solutions

4 STEPS - NOTHING SIMPLER

Step by step

Why is it worth it?

Packaging for horticultural and agricultural industries

The agricultural and horticultural sector combines two very different packaging challenges: on the one hand, light consumer products such as seeds, fertilizers, and plant protection products, and on the other hand, large-volume goods requiring robust protection during transport, like gardening equipment, pots, or nursery stock. TEK-PAK provides solutions for both these needs, selecting the cardboard structure and weight for the specific product and distribution conditions.

We serve manufacturers and distributors who operate seasonally, for whom timely delivery of packaging has a direct impact on sales continuity. We recommend planning orders in advance before the spring and summer seasons, and with ongoing cooperation, we can reserve production capacity for a specific date.

Better product protection

Reducing damage in transit.

Better packaging process

Custom-designed structures speed up warehouse operations.

Lower logistics costs

Optimizing packaging dimensions and weight.

Before you ask

We've gathered answers to the questions that most often come up at the beginning of our collaboration. If something is missing here, let's talk.

What cardboard packaging is used in the agricultural and horticultural industry?

In the agricultural and horticultural industry, we use folding cartons for transporting seeds, plant protection products, fertilizers, and gardening tools, pallet containers for bulk transport of heavy goods, and cardboard wraps for securing large items such as pots, stakes, and gardening equipment.

Are cardboard packaging suitable for garden products exposed to moisture?

Standard corrugated cardboard has limited resistance to moisture. For products stored or transported in conditions of increased humidity, we select the appropriate weight and type of cardboard that better handles short-term contact with water. For requirements of complete moisture resistance, we recommend additional protection.

Can I order bulk packaging for transporting plants or pots?

Yes, we produce flap and pallet packaging in dimensions tailored for the bulk transport of potted plants, seedlings, and nursery stock. For custom sizes, we design individual packaging or large-format cardboard wraps to protect the product during transport.

What packaging works well for shipping seeds and plant protection products?

For shipping seeds, plant protection products, and fertilizers in unit packaging, slotted boxes with appropriately selected cardboard weight are best. For bulk shipping, we use pallet packaging or boxes with dividers to separate individual units from each other.

Does TEK-PAK fulfill seasonal orders for the horticultural industry?

Yes, we do handle seasonal orders. We recommend placing orders well in advance, especially before the spring season, when demand for packaging in this industry significantly increases. The minimum lead time is approximately 7–10 business days for standard packaging.
