Before you ask

We've gathered answers to the questions that most often come up at the beginning of our collaboration. If something is missing here, let's talk.

What cardboard packaging is used in logistics and distribution?

In logistics and distribution, we use regular slotted boxes and pallet boxes for bulk transport, stretch wraps for securing oversized goods, cardboard dividers and corner protectors to protect the cargo during transport, and auto-bottom boxes to speed up order picking and packing in distribution centers.

Are TEK-PAK cardboard packaging solutions compatible with automated storage systems?

Yes, we design packaging with precise dimensional tolerances, compatible with automatic packaging lines, conveyor systems, and high-bay warehouses. Production in accordance with the FEFCO catalog guarantees repeatability and compatibility with various warehouse systems.

What pallet packaging is used in logistics centers?

We manufacture pallet packaging from 5-ply cardboard in dimensions tailored to the 1200×800 mm Europallet or other pallet formats. They can include ventilation holes, carrying handles, and flap cut-outs. They are reusable, which lowers the packaging cost per transport cycle.

Can packaging with logistic printing and barcodes be ordered?

Yes, flexographic printing of up to 4 colors allows barcodes, zone designations, catalog numbers, handling symbols, and other information required in logistics processes to be placed on the packaging. Printing directly on the cardboard eliminates the need to apply additional identification labels.

How to optimize packaging for logistics costs?

Optimization starts with choosing the right format: the packaging should minimize empty space and be compatible with the operator's pallet dimensions and transport system. We help select the optimal format and cardboard weight already at the quotation stage, taking into account the scale of shipments and supply chain requirements.
